After showing a friend the song Metaphors, I was told that everybody plays pussy music... and "Whatever happened to bands like Disturbed?" So I tried to write something harder... I ended up just sounding like a Pearl Jam rip-off that doesn't know how to arrange or mix properly.

On the positive side of it, I experimented with "performed" mixing in this song.... and this was really my first effort at really getting some bowed upright bass parts arrange and recorded. The strings are definitely my favorite part.

But, I also dig on the message. You know... things suck, let's make it better... etc.
